Meet The Doctors

J. Brunson, D.D.S.

Dr. Brunson was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He began his professional pursuits at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, where he obtained his undergraduate degree. He subsequently earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Before entering private practice, Dr. Brunson served in the U.S. Army for three years. He was stationed at Fort Benning in Georgia and earned the rank of captain, as well as an Army Commendation Medal. Dr. Brunson relocated to Palmetto in 2011. Since then, he’s completed continuing education courses in pathology, cosmetic dentistry, periodontics, and prosthodontics. When he isn’t studying or augmenting his professional skills, Dr. Brunson enjoys lecturing on dental topics. He regularly shares his knowledge and expertise with peers and dental students. Dr. Brunson proudly holds membership in the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and Kappa Alpha Psi® Fraternity Inc. When he isn’t developing treatment plans or meeting with patients, you can find Dr. Brunson spending time with his wife Lisa and their two daughters, Josephine and Sadie. Jordan Brunson, DDS, brings considerable experience in general, cosmetic, and family dentistry to Palmetto Family Dental, serving men, women, and families at four convenient locations in Fayette, Palmetto, McDonough, and Zebulon, Georgia.

K. Jordan, D.M.D.

Dr. Jordan began her professional education at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Cellular Biology. She subsequently earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta in 2017. During her time at the Dental College of Georgia, Dr. Jordan participated in a variety of volunteer activities, including the Equality Clinic and Operation Smile. She also received the Emile T. Fisher Foundation Scholarship and a student achievement award in endodontics. Dr. Jordan proudly holds membership in the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and American Student Dental Association. As a firm believer in lifelong learning, she regularly participates in continuing education. She’s completed courses on a range of topics, including orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics. When Dr. Jordan isn’t meeting with patients or developing treatment plans, you can find her spending time with her husband Robbie and their dog Maple. She also enjoys cooking and traveling. S. Smith, D.M.D.

Dr. Smith was raised in Augusta, GA. He began his undergrad pursuits at the University of Goergia and later earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1987 at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Smith began his career with his private practice in Loganville, GA until 2015. In 2016, he joined the PFD team and has been an essential part of the company since. Dr. Smith is committed to learning all aspects of dentistry and has completed continuing educational courses in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and implants. He recently completed training for cometic dentistry at the Las Vegas Institution and has implemented those teachings into our practice. He has been on several dental mission trips to Romania and Brazil. As well as, worked with Goergia Dental Mission of Mercy and participated with volunteer groups to provide dental care to local residents within Georgia. When Dr. Smith isn’t in the office caring for the dental needs of our patients, you can find him visiting his adult children, hiking, trout fishing, or cheering on his Dawgs! Dr. Paige Patterson

Dr. Paige Patterson, DMD grew up in Atlanta, GA. After graduation Dr. Patterson attended undergrad at Spelman College. In 2017, she graduated from Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry with her doctorate degree. During her time in dental school, Dr. Patterson volunteered her time and skills on multiple mission trips. Jamica, Dominican Republic, and Haiti are areas where she provided dental care to residents. When Dr. Patterson isn’t enhancing smiles or expanding her knowledge of dental techniques, she is spending time with husband and 3-year-old daughter, Nora. She also enjoys gardening, weight-lifting, and being an artist. She loves crafting and making things look beautiful, which also shows in her dentistry as well. Dr. Patterson is a member of the Georgia Dental Association and American Dental Association.
